The trapper is, in my opinion, one of the most useful shops in the game. By way of hunting, you can earn some decent money by selling the whole animal carcass or just the hide/pelt/skin for a reduced price. The better the condition, the better the earned money. The trapper will also sell you hand crafted articles from the items you have brought him. Moreover, he will create Reinforced Equipment for you once you complete certain challenges. I believe that the trapper is the one who is initiating the challenges as you don’t have to bring him animal parts or pay for the equipment to obtain it. The only thing you need to do is claim the equipment from him once you’ve unlocked it by completing the various challenges. You are also able to purchase some basic supplies from the trapper, which can be useful depending on which trapper location you are visiting; Herbivore Bait, Predator Bait, Gun Oil, Cover Sent Lotion, Throwing Knife, Tomahawk. There are four trapper locations available to you when Chapter 2 starts with one additional location unlocked once the Epilogue begins.
